Integrate data between On-premise database and D365 F&O using Power Automate

I am new to power automate and I have a requirement to push data from an external on-premise SQL server to a D365 Finance and Operations cloud database. Additionally, I also have the vice-versa requirement to push data from D365 FO to the on-premise SQL server.

I have done some research and I believe this bi-directional data integration will be achievable through setting up a data gateway on the external Server, creating D365 data entities, getting an unattended RPA license, and then setting up flows on power automate desktop on the on-premise server.

I also need these flows to trigger upon insert/update of certain fields/tables on both sides (on-premise, and D365).

From what I have found online this integration seems possible, but I wanted to ask this forum here if anyone has any tips or resources for this requirement.

Hi, I think one possible way is you create data entities in D365 Finance and Operations that correspond to the tables or data you want to integrate. Set up flows in Power Automate Desktop on the on-premise server to handle the data integration. You can use actions such as "Get Data" and "Update Data" to retrieve and push data between the on-premise SQL server and D365 Finance and Operations.
