Does anyone have an idea how to delete the connection of a Business Central instance to a Dynamics 365 Sales instance or change it to another Sales instance? The standard integration is activated in Business Central.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask!

Delete Connection / Sync Business Central to Dynamics 365 Sales
Good morning, afternoon, or evening - depending on your location :)
    Hope you are well today!

To delete or change the connection between a Business Central instance and a Dynamics 365 Sales instance, follow these steps:
    1. Deactivate the Integration in Business Central
    • Open your Business Central instance.
    • Go to Setup and Extensions > Assisted Setup.
    • Select the Set up a Dynamics 365 Sales Connection wizard.
    • Use the option to disable the integration.
    2. Delete the Connection Record
    • Navigate to Integration Table Mappings under Setup and Extensions.
    • Delete the records related to the existing Dynamics 365 Sales instance.
    • You may also need to review the Integration Synchronization Jobs and clear any scheduled jobs linked to the Sales instance.
    3. Clear User-Specific Setup
    • Remove any related user mappings under User Setup or Salesperson/Purchaser mappings to ensure clean disconnection.
    4. Set Up a New Connection (If Needed)
    • If you are setting up a new Dynamics 365 Sales instance:
      • Run the Set up a Dynamics 365 Sales Connection wizard again.
      • Provide the new instance details, such as the URL and credentials, and complete the setup.
    Best Practices:
    • Back Up Data First: Always ensure that you back up your data before making changes to integrations.
    • Clean Up Old Data: Double-check for any leftover synchronization or integration records related to the old connection.
    • Test the New Connection: After setting up a new Dynamics 365 Sales instance, run test synchronizations to verify the data flows correctly.

    Hope this helps :)
