how do i attach and image to an approved invoice waiting for payment?

    D365 isn't a single product, it a brand for a suite of several business aplications from Microsoft. For example, there is Finance and Operations (former Dynamics AX), Business Central (former Dynamics NAV), various apps based on Dynamics CRM (e.g. Dynamics 365 Sales)... These are completely different products with different capabilities, UI, programming languages... There is no univeral way how to do anything across all these different products; you need to know which one you're interested in. It's like with Microsoft Office - you need to know whether you want to add an image in Outlook, Excel or so.

    Hi - good morning, afternoon, or evening depending on your location :) 
    Which system are you using? Dynamics has numerous platforms that have invoicing modules. (i.e. Finance, Sales, Business Central, Great Plains). 
     
     
    The screenshot below is from Business Central > if you click on the i FactBox - you'll see a tab for attachments. 
    CE is similar as well.
