Grouping items together for better cost

Is there a way to group similar items together for a better cost? example: I have 5 labels that are 5"x7". When I group all 5 together on one PO at 1000ea I get a cost of $.10/ea. When I order 3 together on a PO of 1000ea I get a cost of $.30ea., When I order just 1 at 1000 my cost is $.50ea.

Can I create a group that would pull up all 5 items when I release 1 to see if I can combo the items together to get better pricing?

thanks,
Mike

    Hello Mike,

Maybe the 'Product bundle' can be an option:

On the purchase order line you can do an explosion of the BOM

    Hi Mike!

Please help me understand the process better.
If I understood correctly, you have 5 labels, 5x7, which are different Items and have different ItemCodes. Is that right?
When you add all 5 items in the purchase order, with each ItemCode for 1000 ea (totaling 5000 ea in the order), the cost per item becomes $0.10. Is that correct?
And the purpose is to know in advance which combinations of different ItemCodes will allow you to get the minimum price?

    Hello Laurens.

Yes you are correct PO mean purchase order, and we are looking at multiple item numbers to combo together to get one price.

    thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Two questions. Do you mean with PO a purchase order?  Do you mean with similar items, multiple items with the same item number?

    Best regards,
