adding customized conditions in Cross sell/up sell (sales and marketing)

Posted on by 5
Dear community,

In the MCRUpSellVarCondition form (Path: Sales and Marketing > Setup > Up-sell/cross-sell > Conditions ) we can create a condition based on a table, let's say the SalesTable. Additionally we can specify the conditions in the field "Field Type" also based on a "Table static method". In the lookup we are supposed to see all static methods from let's say the SalesTable (see screenshot). We got a requirement for adding an additional condition which needs to be customized as an extended static method on the SalesTable, but whatever we did (full compilation, synchronization) our customized static method did not appear in the selection list.
The functional consultant said that in Ax2012 customized methods were automatically included in the selection list.

Does anyone of yours face this problem too, and if yes what were you're able to find a solution? If not what options we eventually can consider? Adding a static method is preferred because it has the least impact for the performance.
