Hi All,

We have posted lot of financial journal ad some of them not filled in with Global dimensions field filled in. Is there any easy way to do bulk upload for the journal posted without the dimensions also correction some of the wrong dimensions.

There's no way to "bulk upload" the dimension corrections.

The only way to change the dimensions on the posted entries would be to use the dimension correction tool which has to be done manually for each entry. You can also simply reverse the journal entry/register and then re-upload with the correct dimensions. This way you can do it using a "bulk upload"

For correcting dimensions on posted entries, utilize the Dimension Correction tool, which allows you to change dimensions without reversing transactions.

Simply navigate to the Dimension Correction page, select the entries to correct, and apply the changes. This process ensures efficient management of your financial data.

Dimensions correction

Hello,

You can use the Dimension Correction action on the General Ledger Entries page. Bulk upload for correcting posted journals is not possible via Edit in Excel. However, you can correct existing dimensions or add new ones using this action. You can also select and correct more than one entry at a time with this function.
