    Hi everyone,

It is possible to build reports on Visual Studio 2022 but it is not currently supported to use the Dynamics 365, version 9.0 Report Authoring Extension with Visual Studio 2022. Your will need to use Visual Studio 2015, 2017 or 2019.

Can anyone install Report authoring extension with Visual Studio 2022 successfully? Visual Studio 2019 does not support latest version of .NET and I still keep two versions of Visual Studio to work with different types of projects for Dynamics 365.

    Hi Kiril,

Download Dynamics 365, version 9.0 Report Authoring Extension (with SQL Server Data Tools support) from Official Microsoft Download Center
